Evan Grabenstein has been captivating audiences since before he was born, quite literally. His mother played the part of Simonne Evrard in Marat/Sade while pregnant with him, marking his theatrical debut as “The Unborn Child.” Since then, Evan has continued to live his life in the spotlight, building a dynamic career in the performing arts.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Evan served three tours in Afghanistan, demonstrating courage, dedication, and resilience. His military experience has profoundly shaped his perspective and adds a unique depth to his comedic and dramatic work.

Evan’s passion for performance spans decades and genres. With an extensive theater background, he has portrayed characters ranging from Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Inspector Pratt in Secondary Cause of Death. A proud alumnus of HSPVA, Evan honed his craft with formal training and professional experiences, including stand-up comedy workshops and a wide array of theatrical productions.

In addition to acting, Evan is a working comedian currently based in San Antonio, Texas. Known for his sharp wit and engaging stage presence, he regularly performs stand-up and collaborates on innovative projects like Inebriated Shakespeare and Flash Laughs. His comedic journey has taken him to various venues, including VR Chat’s Failed to Render Comedy Club and the American Veteran Arts Comedy Festival.

Evan’s talents are complemented by his diverse skill set, which includes dialect work, improvisation, and even burping on command. When he’s not performing, Evan enjoys photography, graphic and web design, and indulging in “general tomfoolery.”
